SALT LAKE CITY — Troopers had to stop yet another wrong-way driver on Utah roadways early Saturday morning.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m., according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
“The suspect got on wrong way near State Street and I-215 S,” read the post.
UHP officials said the driver made it all the way to Foothill Drive without hitting anyone before troopers were able to stop the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, the man was found to be three times the legal limit.
The incident is just one of dozens of wrong-way incidents reported in the state so far this year.
“We need to do better. Please do not get behind the wheel if you have been drinking,” read a tweet Saturday afternoon from UHP.
